Fortnite: Season 5 — New Changes on the Map
Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5, has finally arrived with new events, challenges, and changes on the map. Just like Season 4, developers have made several changes and added new locations on the map. There’s a new island has been added on the map called Zero Point. There are several special things about this map, and players can experience and explore it while playing. The reason behind making these changes is because developers have also added some fresh new areas like Hunter’s Heaven and Stealthy Stronghold.
A returned area Tilted Tower and a familiar location Salty Springs have also been brought back into the game. Developers have mixed the Salty Springs and the Tilted Tower and made a new site named Salty Towers. All these new areas and towers are situated over the sand. In the recent trailer of Season 5, developers have clearly shown these improvements. There’s a possibility that both of these new sites could be a major spot for players to drop. The Salty Springs and Tilted Tower are both situated near Zero Point Island.
Apart from Salty Towers, there are four additional changes have been made on the map. The newly launched Stealthy Stronghold location seems more like a Jurassic World movie. There is a gated entrance and a huge hexagonal wall that is surrounded by trees. On the site of Stealthy Stronghold, there was a Pleasant Park site.
Hunter’s Heaven is a good place for battle because there are two hills on the building side. Players can make their game strong by using those hills to their advantage. Hunter’s Heaven is located right below Zero Point and left to Lazy Lake. A new place named Colossal Coliseum has also arrived in the game. It gives a Roman-style feeling through its design. Players who prefer to play with classic weapons should try this. There is also a pair of golden statues and a tower. This area is located right above the Zero Point.
Zero Point itself is located on the center of the map. Its location is completely ruined, but it has a huge area. Players will see some jagged purple crystals on the ground of Zero Point. At the center of Zero Point, a strange floating orb will appear. However, there could be more mysterious things on the map, but players have to find it by exploring.
Apart from all these major sites, developers have also added some small but unique places. Some of the players have found a restaurant in Holly Hedges, Weeping Woods, Greasy Groves, and Slurpy Swamp. These are the places where players have seen restaurants, but there could be more.
